Did this star secretly get married to her long-term man?

Lady Gaga and her actor boyfriend Taylor Kinney have been together for three years so it's no surprise that they might have considered tying the knot.

And now, Taylor's really fired up the rumour mill with pictures emerging of him wearing a ring on his wedding finger.

His fellow Chicago Fire star Sophia Bush posted this snap to her Instagram account yesterday evening, referring to the silver band as Taylor's "personal ring":

Sophia reassured fans that the ring was not part of an elaborate twist for her and Taylor's Chicago Fire characters with the hashtags #ThatsHisPersonalRing #NotForTheShow #EveryoneCalmDown #LindsayAndSeverideArentMarried.

So if the ring wasn't for the show, why was Taylor wearing it?! 

Although Gaga and Taylor are generally a very private couple, their rare social media selfies show the pair looking totally loved up. 

The Applause singer was even pictured looking at wedding dresses with her mum back in July:

Gaga has spoken before about her strong bond with Taylor "To be fair, he has stuck it out with me for a very long time through drug habits and all those sorts of things,” she revealed in an interview with Howard Stern. “So he’s a really lovely, amazing person.”

We bet that wedding would have been be one hell of a party!
