Donald Trump has decided to run for president
Today Donald Trump announced officially that he is running for President of the U.S as a Republican candidate. The Democratic National Committee (DNC), along with pretty much everyone on Twitter couldn’t resist pointing out the ridiculousness of the situation.
The DNC released a statement which read “Today, Donald Trump became the second major Republican candidate to announce for president in two days. He adds some much-needed seriousness that has previously been lacking from the GOP field, and we look forward [to] hearing more about his ideas for the nation.” They weren’t holding back then.
Probably best known this side of the pond at the man who coined the phrase “You’re fired,” the business tycoon has long been the host of the reality show The Apprentice. However, he has apparently been threatening to run for President since the 80’s. Shocker.
Possibly also better known for that hair piece rather than his political career, Donald’s announcement earlier today had social media going wild.
Donald Trump running for President is like Reek throwing his hat in the ring for the Iron Throne.
