‘Don’t cry, baby’ Bride’s vows to her new stepson are a total tearjerker

We'd be the first to admit that when it comes to anything engagement or wedding-related, it doesn't take much to set us off.

Snaps of a surprise proposal or footage of a wedding day have had us in tears more times than we'd care to remember, but the latest one to go viral is in another league.

There's no surprise proposal, no rehearsed wedding dance, nor any pre-planned serenade as seen in most virals, but instead a glimpse into the bond a new bride shares with her four-year-old stepson.

While making vows to his dad, Emily Leehan felt it was equally as important to make vows to her new husband's son, Gage.

And it looks like Gage found the whole thing as moving as we did.

"I want you to be safe, and to try your hardest and to be a good person," Emily told a clearly emotional Gage.

"I know that you and I will butt heads," Emily continued. "But I hope with all my heart that as you become a grown man you will understand my methods and realize I have only done what is best for you and that I love you."

And in one final tribute to the adorable little boy, Emily declared: "You have helped make me into the woman that I am today, and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you."

Yep, that's the sound of us crying again.
