Drake and Beyoncé teamed up and you’re going to LOVE the result
Drake has just dropped a new track, and we can't get enough of it.
The rapper has teamed up with Beyoncé for his new song, Can I, two years after the pair first worked together on Bey's own album.
Drake played the track on his OVO Sound radio show on Apple Music's Beats 1 over the weekend, and we can already tell it's going to be a hit.
A leaked, unpolished version of the song first went public back in May, though neither Drake or Beyoncé made any comment at the time.
Though Can I primarily features Drake rapping, it's based around a sample of Beyoncé saying, "Can I baby?" on repeat.
Drake and Beyoncé's work on the 2013 track Mine from Bey's self-titled album got mixed reviews from critics, with one saying the rapper turned an otherwise good song into a "a six-minute slog."
Speaking around the time of the song's release, Drake said he was thrilled to get to work with such a high-profile star.
"I really believe strongly in her talent and her position in our generation," he told Vibe.
"I think she’s one of the biggest stars ever, but especially for these girls right now. I feel like they need Beyoncé."
The singer came under fire earlier this year when it was revealed she had refused to give any interviews or "answer a direct question" in over a year.
But Drake's definitely not one of her critics… he's a self-confessed "Beyoncé believer."
