Dylan O’Brien hospitalised after an on-set stunt goes horribly wrong
Actor Dylan O'Brien was rushed to hospital after a dangerous stunt on the set of the Maze Runner: Death Cure did not go according to plan.
According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year-old has sustained several severe injuries though his representatives have confirmed that they are not life-threatening.
The star of the popular young adult, dystopian series reportedly fell off a set-piece that was designed to look like the back of a train and was then hit by a stunt car.
Dylan was then rushed to a local hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia where filming was taking place.
"Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers," a spokesperson for Fox said in a statement.
"Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery."
Dylan's publicist confirmed the reports but also stated that the actor should make a full recovery from his injuries.
Meanwhile, a number of Dylan's co-stars and friends have taken to social media to wish the star a speedy recovery:
I just want to let everyone know that yes, Dylan was hurt, but that he’s going to be okay. Not life threatening in any way.
