Ed Sheeran taken to hospital following collision in British capital
According to emerging reports, Ed Sheeran was taken to hospital after being knocked off his bike by a car in London this morning.
The Thinking Out Loud singer took to Instagram to confirm the reports, and revealed that the incident, which has left him with a broken arm, may impact his upcoming tour.
The 26-year-old star shared a photo of himself in a sling and wrote: "Ive had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows."
The singer added: "Please stay tuned for further news" before signing off with a kiss.
Ed, who amassed more than 146,000 likes in less than 30 minutes on Instagram, has been inundated with support from concerned fans.
"Sorry to hear this Ed. Hope you are not in too much pain. We love you!" wrote one while another added; "Plz still play the strings the same way cuz we still love you the same." (sic)
Ed was set to kick off the Asian leg of his tour later this month.
