Ed Sheeran set to perform at ANOTHER Irish wedding
First Ronan Keating, now Courteney Cox… Ed Sheeran could have a new career as a wedding singer in the pipeline.
The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker will reportedly perform at the wedding of Courteney and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, at the couple's request.
Courtney, 51, revealed during the week that Ed will serenade her Johnny on their wedding day, which seems fitting considering Mr. Sheeran actually introduced the couple back in 2013.
“We are certainly grateful to Ed for introducing us,” she told The Sun.
“I can’t imagine him not playing something at the wedding. It’ll be a musical night.”
Oh to be a fly on the wall!
We've no doubt that it will be an extremely musical night as we're sure Johnny's Snow Patrol band mates will perform a song or two.
And Irish band Kodaline might even pop in for a sing-song after Johnny, 39, recently co-wrote their new song and Courteney directed their new music video.
As for the venue, the pair are likely to marry on Irish soil in the lavish surroundings of Ashford Castle in Cong, Co. Mayo. Courtney was reportedly very taken with the venue when the couple visited earlier this year.
There is also going to be a special performance from Courteney's 11-year-old daughter Coco.
“She’s actually really, really talented,” Courteney said.
“Coco sang a song for the film I directed called Just Before I Go and she’s amazing."
It definitely sounds like it will be a night to remember… With Ed, Snow Patrol, Kodaline and probably half the cast of Friends attending the wedding, we think we need a one-stop train ticket to Mayo very soon.
