Editor of Vogue Italia has died at age 66 after a year-long illness
Franca Sozzani, the Editor in Chief of Italian Vogue, has passed away.
The news was shared by Condé Nast chairman, Jonathan Newhouse in an open letter.
"This is the saddest news I have ever had to report to you. Franca Sozzani, the Editor of Italian Vogue for 28 years, died today in Milan after a year-long illness with her son Francesco by her side.
"Franca was one of the greatest Editors who ever made a magazine. She was by far the most talented, influential and important person within the Condé Nast International organisation."
Franca was certainly not shy about breaking boundaries in the fashion world and wasn't afraid to include pop culture in the fashion industry.
She will definitely be missed.
