Eight feelings we had watching this year’s Billboard Awards
The 2015 Billboard Music Awards took place last night in Las Vegas, and though only US viewers were lucky enough to watch it live, we made do with an online stream and the help of Vine/Twitter/Instagram.
Here are just a few of the feelings that struck us as we watched…
1. Intense life envy for Taylor Swift
Eight awards. EIGHT. And if sitting beside her new boyfriend Calvin Harris wasn't enough, Ed Sheeran was there too.
2. Major cringing when we saw that first hug/kiss/nuzzle between her and Calvin
Oh god, look away NOW, cameras.
3. Fear for Niall Horan's sperm count after Harry Styles "playfully" grabbed him by the balls
JEEZ, HARRY.
4. Relief that Liam Payne didn't make a big deal about being cut off during the lads' acceptance speech
Someone obviously forget that all four of them were meant to speak…
4. A strong sense of Irish pride seeing both Niall AND Hozier accepting awards on stage
Represent.
5. Stress for poor Mariah attempting those high notes
Not tonight, love.
6. And even more stress for J-Lo trying to look sincere as she clapped for her

8. Worry that poor Kanye was going to pass out from smoke inhalation
His closing performance had so many pyrotechnics that it was near impossible to see him, and the song was so heavily censored for curse words than his singing was barely audible. Oops.
