Family express their ‘concern’ for Zayn Malik

It has been a crazy few months for Zayn Malik; first, leaving One Direction, then facing backlash from fans and a former band mate. We are not surprised to learn then, that Zayn’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.

As producer Naughty Boy’s tweets and Instagram photos have shown, Zayn has been hitting the studio to record some solo and collaborative material, but if reports are anything to go by, the 22-year-old is putting himself under a lot of pressure.

Sources have this weekend revealed that Zayn’s hectic and ‘incessant’ schedule has proven a major cause for concern by his loved ones, who are worried that he may be pushing himself too far under the media scrutiny.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: “Since leaving One Direction, Zayn has been working incessantly on his solo career, holing up in a West London studio for hours upon end. You have to admire his drive and determination with his efforts to go it alone, and any minute he has spare he’s there.”

“His family and friends are a little concerned that he’s pushing himself too hard. After all, his stress was work-related, and he was advised to take a much longer break,” they added.

These comments come just days after Zayn’s former band mate Liam Payne admitted that Zayn quit the band to focus on his relationship with Little Mix star Perrie Edwards.

Let’s hope that Zayn is looking after himself.
