Father Ted fans gather for TedFest and it’s all kinds of WONDERFUL

Hundreds of Father Ted fans are flocking to TedFest on Inishmore island this weekend for a few days of hardcore Father Ted-ism.

The festival started in 2007, and diehard fans dress up for the whole weekend, along with taking part in competitions and silent discos (because you can't disturb the nuns).

It seems like mighty craic and with only 300 tourist beds available on the island, obsessed fans scramble to get tickets each year.

Looking at a few videos though, we might try our arm at it next year. Who doesn't want to take part in the lovely girls competition anyway?!
