Film star secretly tied the knot in October!

Not many celebrities manage to keep their wedding a secret until it's over, so hats off to Bad Santa star Billy Bob Thornton who managed to keep his marriage to Connie Augland under warps for over three months!

The couple, who have been dating for twelve years and welcomed a daughter into their lives in 2004, quietly tied the knot at home before Christmas last year.

A spokesperson for the Oscar-winning star admitted that reports of a wedding were indeed true, saying the pair married "at their home in Los Angeles during a private ceremony before family."

The secrecy surrounding the wedding, which was took place on October 22nd, may have a little something to do with Billy Bob's discomfort with celebrity lifestyle.

The 59-year-old Fargo star, who has been married  a whopping five times before making it official with Connie, once alluded to his high-profile marriage to Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie during an interview with Oprah Winfrey, saying: "When you're in a celebrity marriage…I had one of those periods, and during that time I found celebrity to be difficult because of privacy issues."

Billy Bob began dating Connie, a make up effects and costume artist, soon after his split from Angelina and now seems to relish quiet family life.
