Five-year-old boy dies in tragic farming accident in Roscommon

A five-year-old boy has tragically died in a farming accident in Co. Roscommon. 

It is understood that the young boy received fatal injuries when he fell from a trailer on his farm yesterday evening. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene before being moved to Roscommon University Hospital.

The HSA will conduct an investigation and a file is to be prepared for the coroner.
