Frankie Muniz can’t remember starring in Malcolm in the Middle

Frankie Muniz shot to fame in 2000 after landing his breakout role on the cult sitcom, Malcolm in the Middle.

Running for seven series, the show ceased production in 2006, and while filming would have taken up a huge chunk of Frankie's teenage years, the star recently revealed that he can hardly remember his time spent on set.

Currently competing in the US television show, Dancing with the Stars, the actor made the admission during a pre-performance VT, explaining how numerous concussions and several mini-strokes have caused his memories to become blurred.

“Most people would think that my most memorable year would be the year that Malcolm in the Middle started because it allowed me to live all these dreams of mine,” he said.

“I’ve gotten to really do anything I’ve wanted to do, but the truth is I don’t really remember much of that.

Frankie's Malcolm in the Middle co-star, Bryan Cranston, also appeared in the short clip with some heartwarming words of wisdom:

“Frankie was a TV star, then he became a race car driver, and then a drummer in a rock band. I said to him, ‘What are you going to be next, an astronaut?'"

"I told him not to worry about what you remember, what you don't remember. They are still your experiences."

"It'll be my job. I will tell him," he added.

Frankie is a fan favourite on this season of Dancing with the Stars, and he and his professional partner, Whitney Carson, have been impressing judges week on week.
