French airport evacuated following discovery of ‘suspicious package’

According to emerging reports, Nice airport has been evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious package.
It has been established that travellers were advised to leave Terminal 2 after an abandoned bag was spotted at the Air France boarding area just hours after two other 'suspicious' packages were discovered in the same terminal.

Travellers have taken to Twitter to share developments with the public, and it has been established that passengers were able to re-enter the airport approximately an hour after the police removed the package.

The evacuation comes just a month after a terrorist attack in the same city which claimed the lives of 85 people.
