Get out the scarves, there is some wintry weather ahead this weekend
So, while we may have had a few sunny days this month, this weekend is set to see some typical April weather.
Scattered showers are expected, as is heavy cloud coverage.
'A dull and damp start to Saturday for some, with patchy light rain affecting Connacht and parts of Leinster and Ulster in the morning, but generally dry with sunny spells in the southwest, once early mist and fog clears.'
Mainly dry overnight with variable amounts of cloud and light breezes. Mist & fog patches will develop in places. Lowest temps of 5 to 8C.

'Often cloudy with a few showers through the afternoon, but occasional brighter intervals also,' according to Met Éireann.
Saturday night is set to be mainly dry with 'some clear spells and some patches of mist or fog.'
Lowest temperatures will be 0 to 6 degrees, and there will be a touch of frost in Ulster.
Moving into Sunday, there will be the usual bright spells and scattered showers.
So summer hasn't quite arrived yet, then.
