Get ready for two sparkling summer events at Lu & Mol’s in Gorey

by

June is the summer month with the longest daylight hours, and the creative crew at Lu & Mol’s in Gorey are determined to make the most of that extra time, with plenty of summer season sparkle and fun.

New launches, seasonal offers and party occasions are practically a weekly event, this summer, at the popular new destination for premium affordable jewellery, gifts and accessories, in the sunny south-east.

June sees an exclusive new Dutch jewellery brand launch, as well as party-time for permanent anklet jewellery; while, in July, designer Áine Breen introduces new additions to the popular Coastal Vibe jewellery collection, featuring cast shells and sea motifs from Ballymoney beach.

The Gem that is Gisser – Launch Party June 22nd

Exciting and new, in-store from June, is the uniquely stylish Gisser fine jewellery brand. Made in Amsterdam, the elegant, timeless collection of silver and gold rings, bracelets, earrings and necklaces, is high quality yet fashion-forward.

Beautiful stacking rings and statement rings start from €39.00 for 18ct gold plated and rhodium plated 925 silver. Ear charms, studs, and bestselling hoop earrings come in sophisticated plain or special occasion designs, including eye-catching coloured stone and zirconia.

Bangles, links and tennis bracelets come in delicate designs and bold statement pieces, while chains, pendants, and gemstone necklaces complete the stylish new jewellery offering.

As well as the very affordable plated pieces, stunning 14ct solid gold Gisser jewellery is also available, in a light and demure yellow gold that radiates elegance and understated luxury.

To celebrate the Gisser launch, there is a customer appreciation day at Lu & Mol’s on Saturday, 21st June, with bubbles being poured, a showcase of gorgeous curated jewellery looks, and giveaways from the new collection.

Ready for Summer Day June 29th

The latest new trend in permanent personal adornment, welded anklets, is exclusively available in Lu & Mol’s; and the Gorey gift store is showcasing its latest welding jewellery collection on Saturday 29th June, as part of its Ready for Summer Day.

A choice of silver and gold welded anklets can be attached to the body, as one continuous chain that cannot be taken off, and don't have a clasp. The permanent jewellery is ideal for anyone forgetful, anyone who loses jewellery, who likes a perfect fit, or who just dislikes uncomfortable clasps that get in the way!

As well as welcome cocktails, and 10% off purchases, Ready for Summer Day will unveil beautiful new charms and unusual anklet chain styles in silver, gold-filled, and 9ct gold.

Welded anklets, single or multiple, are curated in Lu & Mol’s private studio, and are especially popular in summertime. The jewellery is easily rewelded if it catches on something, and can be snipped off, if needed. Anyone over the age of ten can have permanent jewellery, as the process is completely safe and pain-free.

"Welded jewellery is a great meaningful present and a fun experience with a partner or friend", Áine Breen, the Lu & Mol owner, says.

It’s a nice thing to do with a partner, sister, or your Mum; basically, whoever you connect with, symbolically.”

Wexford’s Áine Breen, a talented jewellery designer and silversmith who makes Liwu Jewellery, set up Lu & Mol’s jewellery and gift shop on Upper Esmonde Street in Gorey a year ago.

The popular store has legions of fans for its novel giftware which includes bespoke jewellery, bags, candles, journals, caskets and gift-cards. Classic on-trend jewellery pieces include initials and birthstones, and Irish brands such as Liwu Jewellery, Aria-V, Culu, Kybalion and Ale Walsh.

International brands include elegant Cluse watches and jewellery, Nilai Jewellery and the colourful Couer de Leon collection, as well as unique artisan pieces. Áine Breen takes orders for bespoke jewellery, while jewellery repairs and engraving are available too.
