HALLELUJAH! The hottest day of the year so far is set for NEXT week

It is finally time to break out the short shorts as the hottest day of the year so far is scheduled in for next week.

According to the Irish Mirror, temperatures are set to hit 27 degrees in parts of Ireland this coming Tuesday making it the best day of the year to date.

Temperatures will range from 23 to 27 degrees around the country, with the best places to catch some rays being inland counties like Laois and Offaly.

And just to make sure we finally get some Vitamin D, Met Eireann has predicted that the weather for the whole of next week should be good with Monday ranging from 21 to 26 degrees, Tuesday being a scorcher and the rest of the week being a comfortable 20 degrees.
