Go hide! Stephen King’s IT is set to hit the big screen again very soon

by

If your fear of clowns came after sneaking a brief glimpse at Stephen King's IT back in the day, you may want to stop reading now because we have some truly hideous news.

According to Variety, New Line and Warner Bros. have finally announced a release date for their adaptation of the 1990 horror flick – the original of which was based on a Stephen King novel and scared the pants off anyone who decided to venture past its cover.

The story which follows a group of children who are forced to confront Pennywise the Clown is not for the fainthearted, so news that production is set to get under this way this summer has us in panic mode in SHEmazing! HQ.

Following some conflicting schedules and pre-production switch-ups, it seems we will again be forced to meet the monster which haunted our childhoods and turned us into quivering messes at the mere hint of a day out at the circus.

If you really don't want to revisit past nightmares, you may want to lay low when this gutwrenching adaptation hits our screens late next year.

We'll be hiding in the wardrobe if you need us.

But what about you?
