Godmother-to-be Taylor Swift hosts seriously legendary party
Catching a late-night flight back to Los Angeles from Philedelphia, where's she's performing as part of her tour, Taylor Swift threw an epic baby shower for her BFF Jamie King.
"So just took a red eye and threw Jaime a baby shower," the 25-year-old singer wrote on Instagram. "Baby shower/major throwdown."
Actress and model Jamie is currently expecting her second child with her director husband Kyle Newman.
And the guest-list is as impressive as they come: Sarah Hyland, Gigi Hadid, Hailee Steinfeld, Karlie Kloss, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair, Nina Dobrev, Diane Kruger, and Emma Roberts were all in attendance. Phew!
"I always thought if I were to have another child that [Taylor] would be the ideal godmother because the way she not only treats me but the way she treats other human beings," Jamie recently told E! News.
"She's so loving and so giving and so generous and she does everything from her heart."
Judging by the photographs, the soiree was a colourful affair: guests donned bright, feathered head-dresses and feather boas, as well as fans, evening gloves, whistles and balloons.
It is believed that Jamie, 36, is due some time next month. Her son, James, turns two in October.
Jamie also took to Instagram last night to express her gratitude to Ms Swift.
"How can I put this into words," she began. "@taylorswift is not only going to be an exquisite Godmother but one of the best friends one could ask for.
"Thank you Tay for throwing me such an insanely beautiful baby shower. Less then 12 hours after performing for 100k strong. I love you SO MUCH xx"
