Simon Cowell donated over €30k to toddler’s cancer treatment fund

His talent competition may be on the rocks, but it seems that Simon Cowell is still feeling very generous.

The music mogul has just donated 31 thousand euro to the cancer fund of Kian Musgrove, a 3-year-old from the UK who is suffering from his second bout of cancer.

The X Factor creator reportedly donated the money to a fundraising campaign by the family to raise 700 thousand euro for immunotherapy treatment in the US.

And not only is Simon donating the cash into the fund, he also offered to pay for the family's flights to the States where the treatment for the disease can take place.

See, he's not so scary after all.

"I can’t believe it, I have tears streaming down my face," said Kian's mom Kat to Chronicle Live.

"He just called up and said he wanted to help and said he would drop 25,000 pounds into our fundraising account.

"I’m still trying to get my head around it all. He was so nice and kind and just said he wanted to do something to help."

The donation comes after an online campaign began using the hashtag #getkiantosimon.

And according to the child's donation page, the family are already nearly three-quarters of the way towards their target of just over 700 thousand euro.

Simon has a young son of his own, Eric, who has just turned two.

Well done, Simo.
