Hacker who leaked Jennifer Lawrence’s nude photos JAILED

Jennifer Lawrence branded the theft of her nude photos a sex crime, and now the perpetrator is facing justice.

Hacker Edward Majerczyk received a nine-month prison term in a plea bargain after illegally accessing celebrity accounts and stealing the nude images of 30 celebs including Jennifer Lawrence.

He was also ordered to pay €5,300 to reimburse one unnamed celebrity for counselling and therapy she sought following the crime.

According to his plea deal, Majerczyk sent fake emails which looked like they came from the victim's internet service providers seeking usernames and passwords.

He was then able to use these passwords and usernames to access private accounts and information.

Jennifer spoke out at length after the multiple naked and explicit photos of her, along with fellow celebs Kaley Cuoco and Kate Upton, were uploaded to the internet.

“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this,” Jennifer previously told Vanity Fair.

“It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”

"It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting."
