‘Heaven just got funnier’ Twitter reacts to the passing of Gene Wilder
2016 has been rough.
Losing David Bowie, Terry Wogan, Alan Rickman, Prince, and Victoria Wood in the space of just nine months has rocked the entertainment industry, and this morning it is mourning yet another much-loved star.
Following the passing of Gene Wilder – the original Willy Wonka – Twitter has been awash with tributes to the actor who died of complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.
From Stephen Fry to Ed Westwick, there are very few unmoved by the death of the much-loved actor.
