Here’s the idea for the Charmed REBOOT… but we’re not so sure

So, the Power of Three is making a comeback!

Yep, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Charmed is getting a revival, but it's going to be a "reimagining" of the original series.

 

It's official: A #Charmed reboot is in the works at @thecw! But there's a twist: This "reimagining" of the series will not be set in contemporary times like the original.  In a #StrangerThings-esque shakeup, the reboot will take place in 1976!  Click the link in our bio for more details. : Mitchell Haddad

This basically means that our fave witches will not be returning to the show. *Sobs*.

Instead, the show will take place in 1976, a few decades before the Halliwell sisters were ever in the mix.

One of the main witches, Alyssa Milano, previously said that she thought it was too soon for a Charmed reboot, but then again, she shared a throwback image of her time on the show on Instagram only a few hours ago. 

Will she make a cameo appearance? Because if she did, fans (ahem, we) would freak.
