When it comes to pizza, New Yorkers definitely know who to do things in style, but it looks like they've finally outdone themselves this time.

In a move which has legitimately taken social media by storm this weekend, Vinnie's Pizzeria in Brooklyn has introduced…wait for it…the pizza box pizza.

Yes, you heard us right, ladies.

The absolute geniuses behind Vinnie's establishment have realised that cardboard packaging is so 2015, and brought us the INSPIRED pizza box pizza.

"Introducing The PIZZA BOX PIZZA! A pizza box made entirely out of pizza! No waste, 100% pizza and 100% delicious," they tweeted in a glorious post on Wednesday.

Instead of having to find ways to fit their cardboard box down the garbage chute (Think Rachel in Friends here, girls), Vinnie's have provided the public with delicious garlic bread packaging before giving them the chance to tuck into the glorious pizza nestled within.

Ladies, this is the future.
