Hollywood actress welcomes new baby six weeks early

Actress Liv Tyler has given birth to her second child.

The Lord of the Rings star and her boyfriend David Gardner welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday evening, her rep has confirmed. The little one reportedly arrived six weeks early but Liv's rep says that "he’s healthy and everyone is very happy."

The 37-year-old confirmed back in September that she was expecting a new baby, though many had figured it out before then. Photos of Liv attempting to conceal her stomach by wearing loose dresses while on holidays in Spain in August led the media to speculate about pregnancy weeks before the actress' official announcement.

Liv has one son, ten-year-old Milo from her first marriage to UK musician Royston Langdon, who she split from in 2008.

David also has a son from a previous marriage, seven-year-old Grey, so no doubt a third boy is a welcome addition!

The actress met David in early 2014 when the pair were introduced by Liv's close pal, Kate Moss. While no news of an engagement has emerged yet, the couple are "perfect for each other," according to one friend. Aaaw!
