Hollywood couple secretly tie the knot three days BEFORE wedding!
We revealed last week that Johnny Depp and his fiancée Amber Heard were planning to tie the knot this weekend at an intimate family ceremony.
Plans for the couple's wedding on Johnny's private 45-acre island in the Bahamas were leaked to the press, but it turns out Johnny and Amber were one step ahead of everyone.
Although this weekend's wedding will still go ahead, the couple officially tied the knot on Tuesday during a hush-hush ceremony at Johnny's Hollywood home.
A small guest list of just 50 family and friends will be in attendance over the weekend, including Amber's parents and Johnny's children from his relationship with Vanessa Paradis, Lily Rose and Jack.
As accommodation on the island is minimal, many guests will sleep on Johnny's private yacht which is moored nearby. A hard life for some!
"It will be a really simple ceremony," a source told Us Weekly. "Things are in a great place with [Johnny and Amber]."
The newlyweds met on the set of their 2011 film Rum Diary and have been engaged since January 2014.
The normally very private Johnny happily discussed the news with reporters just two months later, telling them how he had begun wearing Amber's diamond engagement ring himself as it was too big for her. "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway," the actor said of his diamond ring. "Not very subtle."
Although Johnny was in a relationship with French singer and model Vanessa Paradis for fourteen years, the couple never married. Johnny's only previous marriage – to his teenage sweetheart Lori Anne Allison – ended in 1986. With this second wedding taking place 32 years after his first, we reckon Johnny has really found The One this time!
