Hunger Games babies! Sam Claflin welcomes and Jena Malone expects

It seems that the cast of the Hunger Games have been getting busy ever since the epic fantasy franchise came to an end in November of 2015. 

At the premiere of the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Sam Claflin's stunning wife Laura Haddock could not hide her growing bump on the red carpet. 

Laura confirmed that the pair welcomed their first child just before the end of the year at the Critic's Choice Awards this week.

The notoriously private couple never officially announced their pregnancy and they are also keeping tightlipped as to the name and sex of the child. 

The 30-year-old English actress and Sam wed in the summer of 2013 and have been inseparable ever since. 

Meanwhile another Hunger Games alum has a baby bundle of joy on the way. 

Jena Malone shared a stunning picture of her cradling her bump on Instagram yesterday and wrote some touching words about what it meant to her to become a mother. 

"Womb to womb, to beating wing, I climb out of the eternal and into the shape of me. Some words I wrote years ago when I was thinking about my own mother. And the woman she was when she had me. And the woman I was reaching to become," read the photo caption

"The shape your desires make out of you. The body you have become to hold your dreams.

"It's with two feet firmly on the ground and a heart swelling in an ocean of love that I'd like to share the new shape I am becoming to hold the greatest dream of them all #babybump #newparents."

The excited mum-to-be is expecting with her boyfriend, Ethan DeLorenzo.
