Iggy Azalea just received the best news ever

She had a rough time of it in the media last week, what with her ex falsely claiming that they were married and all, but Iggy Azalea has a big reason to smile today.

The American Music Award nominations have just been announced, and the singer is leading the way with a staggering six award nods.

Fair play, Iggy!

Among the categories she has been acknowledged in are ‘Artist of the Year’, and ‘Single of the Year’ for Fancy.

This is pretty epic news for Iggy – and what a great way to put that whole marriage/ divorce drama behind her!

Coming up a close second to Iggy are John Legend, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams, who all have five nominations each.

The ceremony, which will be aired live on November 23rd, looks set to be an amazing show, with artist Charli XCX confirmed to perform for the first time.
