“I’m really angry and upset” – Zayn Malik is NOT happy

Yesterday, fans were left wondering where Zayn Malik was as the One Direction boys appeared on The Today Show in the US without him.

When host Matt Lauer disputed the band’s claim that he was ill and instead asked if he had a substance abuse problem, things got very heated on Twitter.

Now, Zayn has hit back at these shocking allegations, telling The Sun: “I’m really angry and upset by what was said on The Today Show. I was really ill at the weekend. That’s why I couldn’t fly to America.”

We’re not surprised Zayn is feeling angry towards the claims- we wonder what Matt was thinking?!
