Incredible line-up announced for Beyond The Pale festival

Now that winter is finally almost over, it’s time to look forward to the summer months and start planning some fun for the upcoming sunny season.

If you’re looking for a festival to attend, look no further than the award-winning and family-friendly music and arts festival Beyond the Pale. They have announced the first 35 acts set to play this year and the line-up looks spectacular!

The festival is set to take place in the breathtakingly beautiful Glendalough Estate site, which is only an hour from Dublin City centre, from June 13 to 15, 2025.

The festival’s fourth edition will feature significant homecomings for two Irish superstars! They include Arklow born, couture-clad pop, disco and house diva Róisín Murphy as she prepares to play her only Irish show this summer, and R&B/pop princess Samantha Mumba, flying from her Los Angeles home for her first Irish show in eight years.

Róisín Murphy commented to reveal, “I’m coming home! Co. Wicklow born and bred. They call Wicklow “the garden of Ireland” and world heritage site Glendalough is its heart and soul. This will be a pleasure and a privilege”.

There are a number of international acts playing their only Irish shows in summer 2025 at Beyond the Pale, including audiovisual electronic composer Jon Hopkins, with a shape shifting and time-warping set, and nu-jazz house breakthrough maestro berlioz, playing their first ever Irish festival. One of the greatest party bands of all time, Boney M, will be joining them to perform their first Irish show in nearly a decade.

Joining the line-up are legendary Detroit-techno pioneer and your favourite DJ’s favourite DJ Jeff Mills; Mercury-Award winners and one of BBC Sounds’ 10 to watch in 2025, London jazz ensemble Ezra Collective’s; raw, noisy, over-the-top, sweaty and unhinged rock & rollers Osees; Death in Vegas playing their first Irish show since 2018 and French house trailblazers Cassius returning to Ireland for the first time in a decade.

Irish acts confirmed include Soda Blonde, King Kong Company, HousePlants, Susan O’Neill, Wicklow’s own Fionn Regan, Lemoncello, And So I Watch You From Afar, Moving Still, Fizzy Orange and Melodic DJs Mulljoy & Ste Flynn.

Rooted in hedonism, rhythm, freedom and emotion, Horse Meat Disco will bang out queer classics, Italo disco, house, oddities and punk funk to conjure “a queer party for everyone”.  Listed as one of Resident Advisor's Top 5 live acts in the world, Booka Shade will deliver an unforgettable and euphoric set.

Known as the “queen of the Palestinian” techno scene, Palestinian techno DJ and music producer Samaʼ Abdulhadi returns to Beyond The Pale, while Leeds based trio Gotts Street Park and the eclectic Chilean DJ, producer and party-starter Paula Tape make their Irish debuts.

More international acts performing at this year’s festival are genre-hopping and exceptionally talented South Korean DJ Hunee playing his first Irish show since 2018; Halina Rice, known for twisting and transforming electronic dance music into exciting new shapes; DJ sets from David August and Zero 7; master of progressive house Nick Warren; star on the rise Pom Pom Squad; and New York-based Irish DJ Krystal Klear.
