Ireland is getting an actual toastie festival, and we are not worthy
When the good folk behind The Harbour Bar's Toastie Festival asked Facebook users to help them pay 'homage to the toastie', we were all ears.
There's little we love more than a perfectly-made toastie, which is why we've earmarked the first weekend in November to indulge our weakness.
Taking place in Bray, Ireland’s first Toastie Festival will cater to every toastie-lover's need, with talk of ham and cheese toasties, well-earned pints, and Cliff Walks.
"Throughout the festival there will be the classic ham and cheese offering alongside some more adventurous fillings to try, and match with whatever your tipple. Plus free tea top ups too," reads the festival's official Facebook event page.
"Visitors can snag a seat by one of the Harbour Bar’s roaring fires or cosy up out front for outside service. All welcome, dogs too."
Ladies, pull up a seat and prepare to tuck in.
