James Middleton is reportedly back on the market after two years

Donna Air and boyfriend James Middleton have reportedly called time on their romance after two and a half years together. 

The younger brother of Kate Middleton and the 36-year old blonde had been together since February 2013 and there were even rumours of a possible engagement. According to the Daily Mail, Donna is same to be "more than a little heartbroken" and has been making efforts to stay out of the public eye since the break up. 

"He just didn't think it was going to go the distance. And I think his family were always very anti her being the future Queen of England's sister-in-law," a source is said to have told The Sun.

The former host of the Big Breakfast furthered rumours that the pair have gone their separate ways as she posted an inspirational message on her Instagram account that read: "Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be (even those itchy ears)."

The message was written in chalk on a blackboard at her Bikram yoga class, so that explains the itchy ears bit. 

The pair were on holiday together not long ago in St. Barths with the Middleton family and were apparently looking very loved-up in the sunshine. It is rumoured that the split happened only several days after Donna's grandmother passed away. 

While the couple were rarely spotted out and about together, of late a few choice snaps have appeared on social media.
