Jedward for Eurovision 2016… but they won’t be representing Ireland
They’ve represented Ireland not once but twice at the Eurovision Song Contest: in both 2011 and 2012, when they finished eighth and 19th respectively.
But now Jedward are hoping it will be third-time lucky for their unique double act: they’re going for European glory once again next year.
And this time they want to perform on behalf of the UK.
With the BBC making a rule change which allows the public to nominate an entry – the 23-year-old Dublin twins reckon next year will be their year.
Indeed, during a chat with Mirror Online, Edward admitted it’s a “fantastic opportunity” for them.
Furthermore, the former X Factor contestants say they are currently in talks with TV producers to launch their own reality show, and revealed that they want to become a presenting partnership powerhouse like Ant and Dec.
We can’t wait!
