Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is about to make his MTV comeback

It looks like one of the great guidos of our time is finally fed up of GTLing on repeat as Jersey Shore’s Vinny Guadagnino is about to make his long-awaited return to the station which made him great.

Four years on from his last filmed appearance at the Jersey Shore, Vinny will be featured on MTV’s Joking Off, a show which merges social media and improvised comedy.

Speaking of his new venture, the 28-year-old reality star told MTV.com that he has always been passionate about acting and comedy and that even while working on Jersey Shore he was involved in sketch classes in his spare time.

He said: “It was incredible to be part of the pop culture phenomenon of Jersey Shore, but waking up to go the Joking Off studio, writing jokes, riffing with other great comics and performing comedy on a big stage is a dream come true.”

“I hope this leads to other things in the comedy world so that my fans can see a lot more of me.”

Meanwhile Vinny’s former co-star JWoww recently became a mother for the second time, while the American version of Gaz and Charlotte Sammi Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro have sparked rumours that they have reunited after being pictured together at Sammi Sweetheart’s 29th birthday.
