Reports are circulating that the Pirates of the Caribbean star and his girlfriend Amber have gotten engaged. The rumour mill began churning after Heard was seen hiding her hand from photographers – although a glimpse of a diamond ring on her ring finger was caught all the same.

After first meeting in 2011 while filming The Rum Diaries, the pair began dating following the breakdown of Depp’s long-term relationship with Vanessa Paradis, with whom he has two children.
