Kate Beckinsale has GAS response to the Pete Davidson rumours
The rumours were FLYING last week which whispered that 45-year-old Kate Beckinsale left the Golden Globes with none other than PETE DAVIDSON. *gasp*
Yup, the same Pete Davidson who dated Ariana Grande until their engagement was tragically brought to an end last year. That's the one.
The actress has now responded to the gossip with a sufficiently catty Instagram comment that would make RuPaul, AKA Queen of Sass, very proud.
The 25-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian was a guest at a Netflix party on Sunday, where one source claims he flirted up a storm with Beckinsale before leaving with her.
Neither celebrity has commented on the media speculation, published by Page Six, until today, when Kate had a sassy exchange in the comments section of Instagram.
After sharing a photo of her mum, Julie to the site, one fan wrote; "Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson."
Kate was quick-witted enough to reply with a hilarious comment; "No, that's my mother. Easy mistake." Wigs of the entire population = snatched.
Maybe the duo just left the party early to grab some classic drunken fast-food, celeb style? Who can say.
It definitely seems like the internet has overreacted and made a big fuss over nothing though…
