The Royal Family have gathered at Buckingham Palace for Her Majesty’s special Christmas lunch.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the event with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis this afternoon.

The Duchess of Cambridge looked as beautiful as ever in a dress by her go-to designer Emilia Wickstead.

The mum-of-three wore a plaid dress with a white collar and puff sleeves to the Queen’s Christmas lunch. It is the perfect look for a Christmas celebration.

She also wore a pair of Cavalfiore pearls by British jewellery designer Cassandra Goad.

The family were in high spirits as they joined Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, The Duke of York, Prince Charles, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Princess Beatrice, and Zara and Mike Tindall for the festive lunch.

Kate drove into Buckingham Palace with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte in her car. William was joined by Prince George, who sat next to his dad in the front of the car.

The family-of-five are expected to spend Christmas at their home in Anmer Hall in Norfolk. They will then join Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip in Sandringham.

This Christmas, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will join their parents on the walk to St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day.

According to The Sun, the youngsters are old enough to join The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for the special tradition.

A source said, “It will be so sweet. George and Charlotte will make their Christmas debut, as long as they're both on good form on the day. It's the picture all royal fans want to see. The royals walking to church on Christmas Day is a rite of passage and so William and Kate didn't want to expose their children too early, but they feel they’re old enough now."
