Kendra’s dad: ‘Hugh Hefner was the father figure I couldn’t be for you’

Kendra Wilkinson and other former girlfriends of Hugh Hefner have provided revealing insights into their lives at the Playboy Mansion.

While her old frenemy Holly literally wrote the book on what life was like at the mansion house when the cameras stopped rolling, Kendra has her own reality series.

Kendra On Top has had plenty of dramatic twists, but the next clip from the show is definitely going to raise some eyebrows.

While it is probably not a sentiment that every father would have, Kendra’s dad Eric has said he is utterly grateful to Hugh Hefner for taking Kendra into his home.

"When I wasn't there, he was the guy that was taking care of you," Eric says in an exclusive sneak peek at the latest Kendra on Top. 

"My dad missed a lot of things in my life like holidays, birthdays, my wedding, the birth of my kids," admitted Kendra, 30.

Last year’s episodes of her reality series saw her reconnect with her dad as her marriage to Hank Baskett was a “mess” at the time.

While her dad has said that he’s grateful that Kendra spent time with Hugh when he life was in turmoil, Kendra previously admitted it was not that glamorous:

"I was usually very drunk doing those evenings, I tended not to care about much until the next day. I had to be very drunk or smoke lots of weed to survive those nights," she told fellow campers during her I’m  A Celebrity stint.

"It was like a job. Clock in, clock out. It’s not like I enjoyed having sex with him," she added.
