Kerry Katona’s fiancé ‘detained under the Mental Health Act’
Reports are coming in that Kerry’s fiancé, George Kay, has been detained by police under the Mental Health Act.
George was reportedly found walking along a road near his home, which he shares with Kerry Katona and her five children.
Police said they received a distressed phone call from a woman informing them of George’s strange behaviour.
Police soon arrived at the scene where they “pinned” down the ex rugby player.
According to authorities, he was found shouting that someone was going to kill him.
The police released a statement, reading: “Thames Valley Police can confirm they were called to a road in Chinnor, Oxfordshire shortly after 6pm on 30 July. A 34-year-old man was detained under the Mental Health Act and was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. He was later discharged.”
George has now been taken to hospital for treatment.
George has recently become a father to his baby daughter, three-month-old Dylan-Jorge, with Kerry.
