Khloé K said to be “inconsolable” as Lamar fights for his life in hospital

Khloé Kardashian has rushed to be by the side of her ex-husband Lamar Odom as he remains in a critical condition in a Las Vegas hospital.

The former NBA star was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday, after checking in there the previous Saturday.

According to the owner of the Love Ranch South, Dennis Hof, Lamar was found by staff at around 3pm, and taken to a local hospital. He was later moved to a larger hospital in Las Vegas for further treatment.

It's thought Khloé's ex, who has battled addiction issues in the past, had popped herbal Viagra pills earlier in the day. 

According to TMZ, Lamar is breathing with the assistance of machines but is suffering from potential heart, kidney and lung failure.

Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian are believed to be in Vegas with Khloé, whose divorce from Lamar was finalised earlier this year.

Khloé's youngest sibling Kylie abruptly ended a live stream to fans on her app when the news broke, taking to Twitter to say only, "Had to end my live stream. I love you guys."

Meanwhile, Lamar's father Joe has asked for "prayers" for his 35-year-old son.

"Things are very, very bad and everyone is praying he pulls through,"  a source tells Us Weekly. "Everyone is rushing to be with him."

Lamar is believed to have been in a "downward spiral" for a while, after being deeply affected by the death of his friend Jamie Sangouthai back in June.

At the time, sources said the NBA star was "beside himself" with grief, made harder by the fact that he and Jamie had been on bad terms before his sudden death.

Khloe and Lamar split in 2013. In recent episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians they were seen to be in contact again, though Khloé has been dating basketball player James Harden since earlier this year.
