Earlier today Khloe took to social media to post a snap of her wearing her waist trainer and gushing about the benefits of using one of the highly debated trainers.

Admitting that she is “obsessed” with the trend which many people have claimed could cause some serious damage, Khloe wrote that it “never hurt nobody.”

Saying that the trainers keep her “waist snatched” and “posture perfect”, Khloe displayed her curves proudly in a make-up free selfie. She credits the Waist Gang Society and Premadonna87 brands as the only trainers worth trying.

The waist trainers on whatsawaist.com can be as much as €110 to purchase, Khloe claims that “once you try it, you will become obsessed!!!”

The Mail Online points out that medical experts have dismissed claimed that waist trainers will help permanently change your figure.

Some fans weren't too keen on the practice, with one writing: "I heard that this was bad for you,I feel like it's a waste. I don't like the idea of it. Just workout is my motto and eat right."

“Medically, it doesn’t make sense that cinching your waist tightly will make it permanently smaller,” Dr. Mary Jane Minkin, clinical professor of ob-gyn at Yale School of Medicine, told Women's Health magazine.

She added, “It’s also uncomfortable, restricts your movements, and if you wear it really tight, it can even make it difficult to breathe and theoretically could cause rib damage.”

Khloe is not the first of the Kardashians to promote products that have raised a few eyebrows.

Recently sister Kim landed herself in hot water when she promoted a morning sickness cure that had not gotten complete approval from the FDA.

Younger sister Kylie also had people talking not too long ago when she credited a miracle cream for helping her attain her eye-catching curves and fuller cleavage.
