Botox, lips, 30JJ boobs: The woman spending €38k to look like Barbie
As has been pointed out many times in the past, Barbie's out-of-proportion body shape is most definitely not a healthy ideal for young girls.
But one woman is determined to prove that it IS possible to look like the famous blonde doll – it just takes a lot of work, quite a few health risks, and a lot of cash.
Blondie Bennett, 39, admits she has spent around €38,000 so far in her quest to become a Human Barbie, or as she puts it, "t**ts on a stick."
The California native has turned to Botox, cheek implants, excessive lip fillers and a grand total of five boob jobs to achieve the look she wants… and now doctors are refusing to operate on her any further.
After appearing on the US TV show Botched in an effort to have her breast size increased yet again, Blondie was turned away by doctors who said the skin around her implants was so thin it could rupture if a sixth surgery was carried out.
While her breasts might be staying at the same size for now, Blondie continues to inflate her pout, using funding from fans of her video channel, who can buy credits to watch videos of her showing off her bizarrely enhanced body.
In normal cases, doctors will inject around 1cc of the filler Juvederm into each lip, but Blondie's lips currently contain 11cc.
"Being a real-life doll, I don't work, but I do have my doll fans who pay for my lifestyle," she says of the money she receives towards her cosmetic beauty treatments.
As well as her surgically enhanced looks, Blondie is open about her efforts to stay thin, saying she loves her "wide thigh gap" and "tiny" 48cm waist.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the blonde, who has even undergone hypnotherapy to appear more "vacant," says she sees nothing wrong with her extreme transformation.
"When people ask why I want to be Barbie I think 'who wouldn't want to be?'
"I want people to see me as a plastic sex doll and being brainless is a big part of that. People can criticise me but this is who I am: I want my transformation to be head to toe, inside and out."
