Listen up, Swifties: Taylor’s finally launching her own clothing line

by

Taylor Swift is doing a Kanye West on it, people.

The singer has most definitely conquered the world of music and now she is turning her hand to fashion with a brand new clothing line. Sadly for us though, it's only going to be available to fans in China. Taylor's 1989 World Tour hits Asia soon, and to celebrate, her new official clothing line will be available for purchase on Chinese fashion site JD.com.

The designs are being launched in conjunction with Heritage 66, a company which helps American celebs to boost their careers in China. Very savvy. Featuring a range of "high-quality dresses, sweatshirts and tops" all "created by Taylor Swift," the collection launches next month, according to CNN Money.

As yet it's unclear whether the new clothing range will be branded with Taylor's name and lyrics, as with the official merch already available on her official site:

Back in January the singer caused controversy among fans when it was announced she was trademarking a number of her lyrics, including, "This Sick Beat”, “Party Like It’s 1989″, “Cause We Never Go Out of Style” and “Nice To Meet You. Where You Been?"

The aim of the trademarks was to prevent any unofficial merchandise making its way to the mainstream market, effectively giving Tay a monopoly on any clothing or accessories featuring her name or lyrics.

Is there anything this girl hasn't thought of?
