Londoners share messages of hope following yesterday’s tragic scenes
As Britain's capital city attempts to come to terms with yesterday's terrorist attack outside the Houses of Parliament, members of the public have taken to social media to share words of encouragement with one another.
With confirmation that five people have lost their lives and more than 20 sustained injuries during yesterday's attack, social media is awash with posts which seek to support and motivate during a time of considerable grief.
Reminding each other that optimism and hope are vital in the days that follow, social media users used Twitter as a platform to express solidarity with one another.
