Louise and Alik: from breaking up… to walking down the aisle?
Suffice to say we're pretty confused right now: are long-distance loves Louise and Alik breaking up… or actually getting married?
After Monday's Made In Chelsea (the same episode in which serial love-cheat Spencer was exposed as a, ahem, love-cheat), it looked as if Ms Thompson and Mr Alfus were also getting ready call time on their union.
While the couple made vague promises to each other to try and make their cross-Atlantic relationship work, their level of commitment seemed rather questionable.
But, in a surprising turn of events, friend of the couple and fellow star, Jamie Laing, has announced that he thinks Alik is about to PROPOSE to his girlfriend.
“I think they will be engaged soon, I’m not even joking. I don’t see why not,” the McVities heir told OK! online.
“They’re so in love and they’re great for each other.”
Alik, a 26-year-old New Yorker, had to return to his home in the US to help his father run their family business.
After months of living with Louise in London, fans of the show have been wondering why on earth she won’t just move to New York to be with him.
“If Alik can leave his life behind to be with Louise then why can’t she make the same sacrifice for him?” one Twitter user asked.
Well, if Jamie is right then we imagine the couple may be reuniting sooner than we had thought.
Let’s hope it’s true because we are all DYING for the first MIC wedding!
