Madonna shares throwback pic of her and son amidst custody battle

Madonna has shared a cute selfie of herself and her son, Rocco, describing him as the 'sunshine of her life' as she battles it out for custody of the 15-year-old with her ex husband 

Reports circulated last week that Madonna was forced to take proceedings to court when Rocco refused to return home from a stint in London with his father, Guy Ritchie. 

The 57-year-old shared the pic on Christmas Day on her Instagram account with the caption: "Merry Xmas to the sunshine of my life. OXOOXOXO."

We reckon Rocco must be feeling a tad guilty. 

Reports circulated earlier this week that Rocco is currently residing in London and is refusing to return to his Mother in New York. 

An attorney for Guy Ritchie reportedly released a statement saying: "[Rocco] has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York."

However, a Supreme Court Judge in New York ruled earlier this week that Rocco is to return to the city to be with his Mother. 

But it still seems that the pair spent Christmas apart. 

But not to be excluded, the pop star also posted pictures of her other three children, Lourdes, Mercy and David.
