Malaysian passenger plane carrying 295 people crashes in Ukraine

It has been reported that a Malaysian passenger plane with 280 passengers and 15 crew on board has crashed in Ukraine.

The Boeing flight was on route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur and is said to have crashed close to Ukraine’s border with Russia.

Plumes of smoke are visible in photos and videos emerging from the country.
