Mariah Carey’s Las Vegas residency show is already in trouble
It's been just eight days since legendary singer Mariah Carey kicked off her residency at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and she's already had to cancel a show.
The singer took to Instagram last night to apologise to fans who had purchased tickets for last night's MARIAH #1 TO INFINITY concert, which was called after Mariah contracted bronchitis.
"Hey guys, I've been fighting bronchitis for the past few days.. almost better but on mandatory vocal rest per doctor's orders," she wrote.
"I'm so sorry to cancel tonight's show but I promise to make it up to you!!! Love always, MC."
Mariah posted the announcement just before the 8pm show was due to start, but those with tickets had also been notified by signs and posters outside the venue:
