Breaking: Mass gatherings banned until the end of August

All mass gatherings have been banned until the end of August at the earliest. The Government confirmed that events will not be licenced to go ahead if they exceed 5,000 people.

This includes sporting events, outdoor concerts and the Tidy Towns competition.

It is understood that no mass gatherings will take place until September at the earliest.
